| Deena Hoagland, LCSW has had seven years experience working with dolphin assisted therapy. She developed the technique used in this program while working with her son, Joe. Deena has a B.A. in elementary education, a B.A. in psychology and M.S.W. in clinical social work. She has been in private practice since 1983, specializing in children's and family issues. |
| DOLPHINS |
| We work with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. They are housed in a contained area in a natural Atlantic Ocean lagoon in Key Largo, FL. Our dolphins are especially trained to work with our clients. They have been working with special needs children since the early 1980's. |
| HANDLERS |
| The handlers work closely with our professional staff to assist and develop unique and rewarding dolphin interactions. |
